I was lucky enough to be in New York city during the big blizzard. At least it was expected to be serious, reality was much different. As Nordic girls all the fuzz around a snowstorm seemed rather funny for us. Indeed, for us it was just a normal winter weather, no need for the drama. Of course, I have to admit that just after I got home from New York, I got the most annoying cold, so I might have overestimated my Nordic strength to handle bad weather, but I am very much alive and healthy by now.
Anyway, with the weather being as it was, we managed to walk around all day long Seeing the Brooklyn Bridge without no soul around was quite an experience. I always imagined it full of tourists, but not with that weather. I must say that I enjoyed the quiet walk a lot even though it was a bit chilly.
Those photos are gorgeous! My parents were showing me how much snow they had in Connecticut and I just couldn’t believe it!
Funny thing is that we had a really warm winter here in Estonia, second year in a row. I was kinda glad to get a bit of snow in New York 😀
